This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how FastPrint SA processes, manufactures and delivers custom 3D printed orders throughout South Africa.

1. Overview

FastPrint SA specialises in the manufacture of custom 3D printed parts based on customer-supplied files and specifications.

We offer three convenient delivery options throughout South Africa:

Collect in Person
PUDO Locker
PUDO Door-to-Door

Production begins only after full payment has been received and all required files and specifications have been submitted and approved.

Delivery times consist of two stages:

Production time
Shipping time

Both should be considered when estimating when your order will arrive.

2. Production Times

Production begins only after:

Full payment has been successfully received.
All required design files have been submitted.
Any design changes or specifications have been finalised.

Typical production estimates are:

Small parts (under 100 mm): 2–5 business days
Medium parts (100–250 mm): 4–8 business days
Large or complex parts: 7–15 business days
Bulk or multi-part orders: production time will be confirmed with your quotation.

These production times are estimates only and may vary depending on:

Current production workload
Machine availability
Material availability
Print duration
Load shedding or power outages
Equipment maintenance
Quality control requirements

If production is expected to take longer than originally estimated, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

3. Delivery Methods

FastPrint SA currently offers the following delivery options within South Africa:

Collect in Person

Customers may collect completed orders by appointment from Kempton Park, Gauteng.

Customers will be notified once their order is ready for collection. Collection is available during agreed business hours only.

PUDO Locker

Orders may be delivered to a PUDO Locker nominated by the customer when a quotation is requested or accepted.

Estimated delivery is typically 2–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and courier operations.

PUDO Door-to-Door

Customers may also choose PUDO Door-to-Door delivery to a residential or business address.

Estimated delivery is typically 2–5 business days after dispatch, depending on the delivery location and courier operations.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated and included in your quotation, based on:

The selected delivery method.
Parcel size and weight.
Delivery destination.
Current PUDO shipping rates.

The total shipping cost is shown on your quotation and on your invoice, so it is always visible to you before any payment is made. Where an online payment option is made available on the website, shipping will be calculated and displayed before payment is completed.

5. Delivery Estimates

All production and delivery timeframes provided by FastPrint SA are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.

Delivery times may be affected by:

Public holidays
Severe weather
High parcel volumes
Remote delivery locations
PUDO operational delays
Events beyond our reasonable control

FastPrint SA cannot guarantee delivery dates once an order has been handed over to PUDO by The Courier Guy.

6. Delivery Information

Customers selecting PUDO Door-to-Door delivery are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, contact number and any other required delivery information.

Customers selecting PUDO Locker delivery are responsible for nominating the correct PUDO Locker location before their order is dispatched.

FastPrint SA is not responsible for:

Incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
Failed delivery attempts caused by incorrect information.
Delays resulting from incomplete delivery details.
Additional courier charges resulting from incorrect delivery information.

Any additional courier fees resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer may be payable before re-delivery can be arranged.

7. Risk & Ownership

Ownership of the goods transfers to the customer once payment has been received in full.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer once the order has been:

Collected by the customer or their authorised representative; or
Handed over to PUDO by The Courier Guy for delivery.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their order immediately upon collection or delivery.

8. Damaged or Lost Deliveries

If your parcel arrives damaged, please notify FastPrint SA within 7 (seven) calendar days of receiving your order.

Your claim should include:

Your order number.
A description of the issue.
Clear photographs of the packaging, the shipping label, and the damaged item(s).

Please email all claims to [email protected].

Please do not dispose of the packaging or modify the item until your claim has been assessed.

If your parcel appears to have been lost while in transit with PUDO by The Courier Guy, FastPrint SA will assist in opening an investigation with the courier and work towards resolving the matter as efficiently as possible.

9. Delays Beyond Our Control

FastPrint SA shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Load shedding or prolonged power outages.
Equipment failures.
Material shortages.
Supplier delays.
Delays within the PUDO delivery network.
Industrial action or strikes.
Severe weather.
Floods, fires or other natural disasters.
Government restrictions or emergencies.

Where reasonably possible, affected customers will be kept informed of any significant delays.

10. International Shipping

At this time, FastPrint SA delivers within South Africa only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
